I think it's a super cool idea, but it's made out of cardboard so the price should be way less than that. The cardboard should make it cheap and affordable…that's the main reason why anything would be made out of cardboard. I mean just seems ridiculous. When the instructions come out I bet someone will leak them online and then making the pieces yourself shouldn't be that difficult.

Personally I think this is a genius idea, however, the material is way to cheap. Instead of cardboard they should have gone with something like plastic. I can imagine these toys ripping apart within a matter of days when playing with it.

I think this is a really cool idea! Although very overpriced for cardboard especially if it doesn't hold up well, but making another function for the Switch besides just gaming is genius marketing, and could be quite unknowingly educational (like slipping veggies into kids favorite foods haha) 😂

Cardboard never did that when I used it growing up, and I made stuff like that with cardboard too…

I know the kits will come with a game cartridge, but still… $60+ for mostly cardboard that will most likely last a few days seams a bit overpriced.

People keep saying "Its cardboard" um did you not see how elaborate and technical some of the inner workings were? This is engineering and its amazing what Nintendo has done. Such an intelligent concept and way to bring education to gaming in a fresh way. Good Job Nintendo A+

Genius. This is going to sell systems to those families with younger kids that might have been on the fence. Bravo Nintendo. It’s not aimed at adults or “hard core gamers” and that’s ok.

As someone who’s about to enter adulthood in May, I think Nintendo Labo is a very creative and original idea and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
