I am not one to support a company that PRETENDS to be Atari ("Atari" of today is actually Infogrames) and is responsible for games like Alone in the Dark Illumination.

Did anybody else get an ad with David Miscavige, the Scientology leader?….. Why, YouTube? Why?

i'll give em a thumbs up for the styling of the console. modern, yet very retro akin to the original 2600.

see, I wish Atari moved on just like Nintendo who has been able to move forward and still remain relevant. Atari on the other hand is stuck in the past making a console mostly focusing on what they've already made.

Much better video, better than all the youtubers pushing negative crap about this console. Give this thing a chance before crying about having options lol.. People who are against this are anti-consumer. More options for gamers is always a positive!

I would love to support Atari but they need to go big with the hardware.

Personally, I'm looking forward to what this system has in store for everyone.
I'm not saying I support Atari 100% with whatever they plan on doing with this machine, but still.
The fact that Atari is planning something (that is hopefully not a scam in the end) kinda gets me excited.

This is actually pretty exciting (and I'm not even a retro gamer), I just hope they update and sell more classic Atari joysticks, that's the main appeal for me (aside from the sandboxed Linux system).

I will buy this thing and make sweet sweet love to it, and buy that I mean play some awesome games. The open concept is awesome, it'll be like a super Retropie machine that can also swing some modern games. So you'll probably be able to play everything up to PS2 to GameCube games on it.

Looking at the hardware specs that they were previously going with, it looked like it would have a clock of 3-3.8 GHz with 4 cores. Maybe clocked down due to it seeming not to have any fans? You can expect something like 4-8 GB of RAM I figure. Integrated Radeon graphics, which as of late have proven to be very promising.

I dont understand the comparisions to the Ouya. Its much closer to a steam machine than anything else.
