How could you forget about the "root" password bug for Macs and MacBooks?
That imo was the worst moment for Apple.

The notch- get over it. I really don’t see the problem. It’s what differentiates it as an Apple product and I don’t even see it anymore.

Apple seems to be focusing on more edge intelligence based on processor tech! With security & privacy issues of cloud based services. This could be a win if it is well done!

And don’t forget Apple is still not allowing us to control the phone hardware with control center. Everyday the hardware turning on by themselves. And for what ? Location tracking ?
It’s annoying and I don’t want anything extra on that may be a security risk.

I am 100% sure its all the Apple employees that post all over social media with these reality distortion comments that try to spin every negative point into some plus. Like the notch, the wobble the price.

MacOS High Sierra. It wasn’t really an upgrade other than the possibility of VR and APFS. Not life changing features!! Overall a good year for Apple though. Impressed with most of the things that they came out with, but they really need to pay some attention to macOS!

    Biggest Apple downsides of 2017:
    1: Slowing down devices; deliberately.
    2: iOS 11
3: Not ditching Lighting; despite being "courageous"
    4: Face Scanner easily tricked
5: High Sierra root password bug

Ios 11 definitely a crappy ios, a battery vampire. And the usbC dongle jungle, headphone jack on iphone… yes old news but damn its hard to stay a fan of apple when your “driven” instead of “listened”, communication failure in a couple leads to divorce!! Time to wakeup fruit people.

Brian it’s that iOS 11, it turned my 3 month old iPhone 7 into a 4s. The speed slow down is soooo drastic and obvious.

I’m a big Apple fan. But this weekend, my MacBook Pro stopped booting after downloading an update to OS X… I had to get something done for work and it wasted a lot of my time. OS upgrade problems used to be Windows territory. They really need to take a serious look at their development and testing processes.

MacOS High Sierra is a mess, slowing down old iPhone, Animoji doesn't actually requires 3D face mapping and it's not on other iPhone as an update just to sell more iPhone Xes, top notch, FaceID
